Geological and geotechnical surveys of individual dwellings

Lithuania is home to many soils of different composition and origin that differ greatly in their properties. To avoid major problems in the future, we recommend that before constructing an individual residential house or other structure, it is necessary to examine the geological conditions of the construction site and the foundation of the site.

Geological and geotechnical engineering surveys of individual houses are performed by the following field survey methods:

• Drilling of wells to determine the geological structure • Cone penetrometer (CPT) test (static probing) • Dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) test (dynamic probing) • Soil and water laboratory tests if necessary.

After performing the engineering geological surveys and analyzing the data, we will present a report of the findings.
